Our first ever apprentice starts today!

The newest member of the Print-Leeds team starts work with us today, representing an important milestone for the company.

Michael Todd, 19, is our first ever apprentice. After 8 years of business, the time has come to develop the next generation of skilled print technicians at Print-Leeds, passing on the specialist knowledge the company has to offer.

After his three month probationary period, Michael will embark on a full three year apprenticeship, which will provide him with comprehensive training, covering all aspects of Print-Leeds’ UV litho and digital print output.

It is hoped that Michael will be the first to benefit from an on-going apprenticeship scheme within the company, producing an ever more skilled workforce for years to come.

“Nurturing  our workforce  has always been a key element of our business plan, and we see the appointment of an apprentice as a cornerstone to the development of the company. Not only does it guarantee Print-Leeds a skilled workforce for years to come, it also reflects our social responsibility and cements our position within the local community” – Rod Fisher, Managing Director
