Enjoying notoriety for being able to produce difficult and unusual pieces of print on plastic, this company also likes to be first to market.
Print-Leeds was the first print company in the UK to purchase a Heidelberg CD74-6-LX-UV press which is fully integrated to the Heidelberg Management Information System (Prinance MIS). It is an unusual and specialist piece of machinery – there are only six in the country – which prints up to six colours plus UV coater.
It has outstanding print properties - support for a wide range of printing materials with thicknesses of up to 0.8 millimeters; a maximum sheet size of 740mm x 600mm; a maximum speed of 15,000 sheets an hour; sheet guidance with the AirTransfer system; rapid-response inking units; and not least short setup times which are achieved because of extensive automation.
